APRIL/MAY
FANCY:
the lighter, less bitter, and lesser known cousin to an aperol spritz and the ideal summer drink imo. perfect for ordering on an outdoor patio or for batching @ a summer dinner party.
Ingredients:
Prosecco: (4) oz (chilled)
Elderflower Liqueur: (1) oz (such as St-Germain)
Sparkling Water: (1) oz (chilled)
Fresh Mint
Lime
Serve in a chilled wine glass over ice.
i got my first pair for my trip to ireland and they’re kind of a perfect shoe - as easy as a slide but somehow looks more put together. also comes in a lot of great colors and looks great on everyone. expensive, yes, but they last forever. highly recommend.
i have a really clear memory from childhood of my mom switching my bed sheets from my winter flannel to a spring/summer set. they were crisp white cotton with big red cherries painted all over and i loved them. since then, i’ve always loved marking the change of season with a bed edit. this can mean getting a new sheet set, swapping to a lighter fabric, embracing colorful patterns, or switching a duvet for a blanket. if you’re looking to splurge, this set from marimekko is cute as hell.

chic as hell and have held up very well over the years. you can also find cheaper dupes of these patterns online.
FUN:
i have the mango set and i’m obsessed with them. slowly building out a fruit salad coaster catalog.
the inflatable metal chair has been living rent free in my head for weeks. i for one will be taking a day trip out to stoughton in the very near future.
i’ve yet to find a better one and its about $12 in any drug store in the world.
need i say more?
FUNCTIONAL:
mise en place final boss. get these for your favorite home chef and maybe get another set for yourself. perfect for meal prep, spice storage, leftovers, etc. a major kitchen upgrade for anyone who loves to cook.
did you know that industry legend/hot girl extraordinaire Ali Garvin also makes knives? i know. come get your baddie chain. her knives are beautiful, locally made, and highly commissionable. i just got my first one and i’m so obsessed with it. hit her up on ig (linked) or pick up one of her limited edition knives @ Mommas in Cambridge.
this is the best/cheapest sunscreen i’ve ever used. 10/10 dupe for Supergoop and a perfect texture under make up or on its own. they make a body and face version + i’m pretty sure they’re both under $10. i’ll have one in every bag this summer.
NEW SEASON OF COUPLES THERAPY:
i would walk through fire for Orna and this season only served as further proof of that.
follow up to the NYT best seller Attached, Amir Levine’s Secure explores the science behind secure human connection, providing tools toward a more secure life. his work is renowned for a reason, and though i just started reading it, i can already tell its going to change my life. i’ll report back in june.
technically a “sleeping mask” (what?) but i’ve used it as a daily moisturizer in the summer for years and its perfect. water-gel vibes with a light + dewy finish.
i just don’t think were making the most of our one wild and precious life if were not making waffles on a semi regular basis. yours to consider.

all your favorite dj’s are already here. weekly sets from resident dj’s spanning all genres, with new talent being added all the time. great for changing up your work from home playlist or for keeping you company while you clean your house. central square’s programming is wildly impressive + this is no exception.
framingham’s finest. pack a picnic or stop at Hanson’s Farm for fresh produce (+ pick your own!) for a perfect summer day.
THIS FUCKING HOUSE IN PORTUGAL:
i’ve seen every single one of these open door tours and this one might be the crown jewel. every once in a while i see a property or home that makes me reevaluate my entire life and this is one of those. i’ve been looking at air bnb’s in portugal every day since my first viewing.
